What’s with the “look at the sound!” Stuff? Am I missing something here or not understanding?

I see a lot of shorts where people say, “don’t look at the sound!” Or “look at the sound” or “kiss the person under the sound!”. But why are people saying that? Is this a secret promotion thing or something? I don’t get it all 😅
