Choosing vet schools to apply to?

How did yall do your research when preparing where to apply to? I understand this is something that needs to be thought about way before applying but for example I am a freshman undergrad and have only really been looking into 1 school so far. It’s just really overwhelming looking at every schools prerequisites. Does anyone have any advice what I can do to get more organized?
