Passport no. wrong on my Appointment Slip

Is there any hope in fixing this, my DS-160 has the correct passport number but my tourist visa appointment slip has my passport no. missing (1) digit. I read that I can address this with the VAC when my biometrics appointment comes up. Anyone experienced this? I am from the Philippines btw.
