UPF & Hormonal Imbalance advice
Hello,
I’ve recently had alot of symptoms that appear to be a sign of hormone imbalance. Low mood and energy, itchy skin, acne of chin area (always had clearish skin) fatigue, hair loss.
I have been in a calorie deficit and therefore using a lot of low calorie alternatives which are very processed like ‘eat lean’ cheese ect. I’ve been avoiding foods I enjoy like avocado ect because of the high calories.
I also eat a lot of lean meats and fruit ect but have even been drinking flavoured water to try and curb sugar cravings and hunger and basically anything to stop me thinking about food.
This has led to recent mini binges and I can feel myself slipping back to and unhealthy way with food. I want to cut out the UPF food and focus more on whole foods in the hope I’ll feel better.
Has anyone had success with relieving these symptoms with cutting out UPF? I have recently been for blood work so awaiting those results.
