Runners — What’s your watch and why?

My Garmin Forerunner 235 has been an absolute rock. It’s endured about 4 years of constant rain, sleet, snow, heat, submersion, getting banged on boulders — and keeps on ticking, as the old advert says.

I also like the simplicity of it. It gives me the simple data I want and need during and after a run. I downloaded an interface that provides me with everything on one screen: pace, elapsed time, heart rate, elevation gain, temp, etc.

Because my Forerunner has been so rock solid, I have a brand-new Instinct I still have never used. Haven’t had to.
