AirPod Pro 2s / Tickling sensation

** Repost from ETD sub too - apologies **

So for context I know I suffer from a degree of ETD. I’ve had persistent tinnitus since late August. Around this time I’ve noticed I can make my ears click and “crunch” (similar to opening after a plane ride) on demand as well.

I flew home from a work trip on Tuesday - and probably had the worst clogged ear (right ear) since I’ve ever been on a plane. Took an hour for my ear to feel a bit better and my ear was still having noticeable fullness the next day.

Conveniently that day I had an ENT appointment to go over the tinnitus and clicking. He mentioned using AirPod Pro 2s to mask sounds for tinnitus.

Started using them in recent days - sometimes for a while talking to friends online (I play the game noise through speakers). But yesterday and today, I’ve noticed I’ve began having a light tickle / tingling feeling in my ears.

Whats weird is the tickle isn’t necessarily IN my ears, where the fullness and other symptoms seem to be at times, it’s more in my outer canal and even feels like it’s on my skin a bit on the outside.

So I’m wondering - have you guys noticed this? Could this just be another development of ETD? Or maybe I’m just overthinking the ETD and my ear is reacting to me wearing the new AirPods a lot recently (which I will admit can be uncomfortable at times - still figuring out the fit).
