Pre-launch Stripe woes...
I'm in the process of developing my WordPress/Woocommerce site and decided to go with the Woocommerce Stripe payment (not Woopay) and tax plugins. All is good until I started getting the "Provide information about your website" requests. I've filled the form out over a DOZEN times...just 5 in one day.
My site is not 'live' and is on a staging server. I've noted that in every request and gave them the URL to my test site.
In the meantime, the payment input fields on my test site are grayed out and unable to be used.
I've reached out to their support and have gotten nothing but, more tail-chasing. Is this a sign of things to come? If they are this skittish now, how are they going to be when I go live and have a money-related issue?
Has anyone else encountered this?
*for context: I'm a US-based company that will be selling small-ticket apparel and accessories
