Week 3 - celebrating with 10k run in marathon
It's been a great help to be a part of this community before and during my quit. Thanks to all!
I am dealing with stronger cravings in the third week, but I'm holding on and let them pass. One of the things that have helped me was to sign up for a 10K marathon happening this weekend. I know it is a lot for a beginner, as I have never run. But I do crossfit from 4 years so I know I hope I can handle it. I do not expect to be fast, simply to complete it and celebrate.
Somehow quitting smoking and starting running are the perfect match, even more if you give yourself a challenge like 5K or 10K run. The best of these hard days, has been training for the run and I totally recommend it.
