Nemesis: Shinzon Holo projector

What exactly is Shinzon seeing? Anything? We know he can hear Picard?

How?? I get Picard seeing and hearing him. Shinzon is projecting information but how could he see or hear anything? That would be extremely OP to even hear what's going on in another ship at will.
