Is limb lengthening surgery worth it?

I know being short is sometimes a pain in the ass. I’m 5’7.5, 20m. Feel like this surgery is a bit too extreme, yet I still feel that in the long run it would benefit me in so many other ways and how I feel about myself. I’m only considering doing 2.5 inches so shouldn’t be as risky as over-lengthening. So, hypothetically if you had the money and complications risks are low, would you still do it?
