Why the fck does Carrie have such a horrible blaccent in the later seasons

Has anyone else noticed this??? It’s hard to listen to her speak without physical recoil. I don’t know what’s worse, the blatant racial undertones of the way she spoke, or how unapologetically millennial it feels. At this point, Sarah Jessica Parker was a producer on the show. It feels like a complete shift with the way her character speaks that makes me wonder if it was her artistic choice. Gag.
