IMMICH and NextCloud Memories | GPU for face recognition

Hi, I am getting a new Home-Server soon, and wonder if it makes sense to put a GPU in it.

Does face-recognition in IMMICH and Nextcloud need a GPU? If not, how much faster would it be with GPU?
