Enterprise SDR vs AWS partner SDR vs SMB AE
Big thanks to this subreddit, I was able to land three offers in the tech world and have to make a decision very soon
Option 1: SMB AE 50base/100OTE No cold calling, leads are from marketing, closing role, seems relatively transactional This would look good as I would have closing experience, and could leverage that to a MidMarket/SMB with higher OTE after a year
Option 2: Enterprise SDR 60base/95OTE with equity First three months, they give OTE automatically (8k/month) Then after that, you get the base (5k/month) and earn your commission (OTE 3k/month They say I could go Enterprise BDR -> EAE in 18-24 months (I have VERY little sales experience and I'm very young) In this position, you lead discovery calls as well, so it's not just setting demos Sounds like a way to hit EAE relatively quickly, and they train you on the enterprise cycle very well it seems.
Option 3: AWS Partner SDR 45/75 Cloud services Super interesting upside down the line They say they look to promote quickly (1 year to Junior AE) Selling to SMB/mid/enterprise AWS/cloud is huge so it sounds like a great opportunity to jump in while young and work my way up to AE here..only problem is the pay is considerably lower compared to the other 2 offers
What do you think r/sales? What is a good choice given I have only 6 months of sales experience
