7900XT or wait for 9070XT

7900XT Sapphire model is on sale for $1015 CAD from Amazon, currently using a 3060 and want to upgrade for a new 1440p monitor. Do I just pull the trigger or is it worth waiting.. I've heard tariffs aren't going to have an impact on GPUs but I don't know if that is true. GPU upgrade is the last thing for my new 9700x rig. I'm so indecisive, I told myself I'd wait for the 9070XT but I'm concerned with availability in Canada as it's even harder to get new release products than the US. My 3060 is playing everything I want just fine but I want to complete the new rig. AHHH help me make a decision.
