Pokemon Lets Go Pikachu/Eevee is better than Sword/Shield (Unpopular Opinion)

Yup. I said it. It seems like most people hate Lets Go and dont even consider it core series due to its different mechanics of catching Pokemon and such.

I personally think that almost everything about Lets Go is better than the 9th Gen Sword/Shield editions. I like the new catching system. Its really fun and motivating. Hell, I even WANT to complete the Pokedex! The fact that you can even make easier and more fun shiny hunts is just the cherry on top. I also think that graphics and design in Lets Go is better. In fact I feel like Sword/Shield are graphically a slight downgrade? I dont know why or how this makes sense but I feel like that. I also love that the Pokemon can ALL follow you and walk around! And they all have great details and animations. On top of that they have Mega-Evolutions in Lets Go, yeah only 1st Gen but still.

I guess everything else is pretty much the same for both games so I dont even think they are that much different, aside of the catching mechanic. Some of these features from Lets Go were even partly implemented into Sword/Shield even if less noticeable oder hidden.

The only thing I like even more about Sword/Shield is the IV, Nature breeding and competitive but then again, Lets Go isnt about competitiveness, doesnt even have many online features. The new Sword/Shield DLC port of the Pokemon following feature is just a really sad excuse with Pokemon constantly despawning and re-appearing and even getting stuck or being slow and only saying 1 thing. On top of that it doesnt even work in the main world. Also I personally dont like the Gigantamax stuff of Sword/Shield that much and wish they just sticked with the concept of Mega-Evolution. Some of these Gigantamax forms look great but I barely ever see them or are able to use them properly in competitive... Wish they would be available as Mega-Evolution forms too. Maybe in future games? I just feel like the concept of Mega-Evolution was the best and most useful and fun. Gigantamax might be fun in raids but beside? Not at all. Almost feels like these new greatly designed forms are wasted and next Gen everyone will be like "What is Gigantamax?". Hell, does anyone remember Z-Moves from 7Gen Sun/Moon? Yeah I thought so...
