How much does your 6 week old eat?

Serious question. Went to the ped today - baby has gained almost a pound in 1.5 weeks. We went for suspected reflux, which was confirmed and we got meds, but he also said we were likely over feeding him and that could be why he’s so uncomfortable.

I don’t doubt that. Everything I read says a baby at 6 weeks should be eating 4-5oz per feed? I feel like we were trying to get to 4, worried he was under eating. He eats every 2ish - 3 hours during the day and averages 2-3 oz per feed, but we may have pushed to 4 too soon. I’m so confused what we should be feeding him. Doc gave us a huge range.

He just moved to almost all formula (always combo fed).
