Morgan has bigger problems
Morgan has serious issues to address now, whether one agrees or disagrees. I work for a state agency that deals with these matters regularly, and based on experience, cases like this often escalate quickly. With Morgan’s large platform of over a million followers, it is highly likely that someone will report this incident to law enforcement. If that happens, Morgan could face domestic violence charges.
While I am not familiar with Michigan’s specific laws, in many states—including mine—the victim does not need to press charges for the prosecutor to move forward. Prosecutors can proceed based on evidence alone. Additionally, child protective services may get involved if children are potentially impacted, further complicating Morgan’s situation.
This is a cautionary example of how reckless actions can lead to severe consequences. Morgan underestimated her audience, many of whom have experienced similar situations and saw this coming. If she is charged and convicted, a domestic violence conviction could permanently damage her record, making future employment opportunities challenging. TikTok may not always be a sustainable income source, and a criminal record would surface on background checks for any future job.
It’s critical for Morgan to reflect and make better decisions moving forward. If emotions run high in a relationship, it’s essential to learn to walk away rather than act impulsively. While the full story may not be known—there are always three sides to every story—it’s clear that if something is damaging your character and stability, the best choice is to leave the situation entirely. Morgan, for your own sake and future, it’s time to do better.
