Working on a forklift.
Hello, Sorry if this is the wrong sub.
I am working on a 1980 forklift, i have these 2 Canisters I guess you would call them?
the pictures here are labeled 1 and 2.
So 1 had a fluid it in, brown and NO smell, so i dont really know what it is.. it has what it looks like break lines coming out of it but. they weren't connected to anything (the forklift has been gone through before i got to it)
2 has just 2 hoses coming out of it, but the fluid in that his red, maybe power steering? The lines go to the front of the forklift near the hydraulics, i dont even know if this thing has power steering. it just looks like a big hydraulic shit show.. And it does have fluid in it. its red. (im not sure why it has a filter..)
Again, sorry if this is the wrong sub. Im just pretty stumped on these things an what they do. (and what kind of fluid to put in them..)
