Can we have a discussion about the state of this subreddit?

Already preparing for this to get buried in downvotes but that’s fine.

This is the subreddit for the MCU. This is supposed to be the place where fans of the MCU come to discuss the franchise. It’s gotten progressively worse over the past few years but the last 6-12 months have reached a point where this is just the FuckMarvel subreddit. Any positive posts are flooded with comments calling the OP and everyone in the thread a Disney shill. Any positive comment is flooded with downvotes while every comment shitting on the topic is upvoted. All the while those same people are complaining about people coming here and saying good things about the MCU.

If people don’t want positive posts here then what is this subreddit for anymore? Where do the people who actually like this stuff go? That’s a genuine question. Is there another Marvel sub that isn’t filled with people that are here just to spread negativity? It’s not even about having only positive things in the sub. It’s the fact that every negative post is highly upvoted with agreeable comments and every positive post is flooded with people telling the OP they’re wrong. There’s no room for the people that are still fans to interact with others who enjoy the content without getting screamed at we are wrong or paid shills or whatever.

I very rarely post on this sub so this isn’t a reflection of my own experience, but more of what I’ve seen from this sub as time has gone on. It’s just getting exhausting seeing this sub turn into SpidermanPS4 where it’s just a place to shit on the reason the sub exists.
