Baby blanket tracker

This is super random but baby is starting nursery soon and I’m so worried about the blanket going missing as she is super attached to it. So I’ve been thinking about somehow adding a tracker/AirTag to it. Has anyone every successfully done this? I’m concerned about it being sealed away as she is only 8 month and I don’t want it to be a choking hazard.
