How often do you turn off airplane mode on your Kindle to update your reading streak?

Maybe a stupid question and as the title says: How often do you turn off airplane mode on your Kindle to update the reading streak ??

I usually turn off airplane mode every 24 hours to update my reading streak since I don't use WiFi often. However, I've noticed it drains the battery. Can I leave airplane mode on for weeks and still have my reading streak sync?
