Katseye: K-Pop vs. Western standards
I wanted to garner discussion on everyone’s thoughts and opinions on Katseye’s unique position as a global group trained through K-pop methodology.
I saw discourse on how soon Katseye’s next comeback should be. Others say it’s been too long, others say it’s perfectly fine.
This sparked my want for this post.
How do you feel about katseye currently with promotions?
What things would you like katseye to implement from k-pop?
What would you like katseye to implement from the western side?
What would you not like to see?
How could promotions be better?
I may or may not be making this post in hopes that the girls and their team see.
Personally for me, I need long albums. I’m talking 11-17 songs. Not 7-9 (including remixes of old songs). I would also love more ballads and just pure singing. As much as I love k-pop and their huge emphasis on dancing, I want the producers to really shine the girls vocals. I feel like that’s what gathers non-kpop fans easier.
Thoughts?
