Sr15 price?

What amount would you consider overpaying for a 16” sr15 mod 2 that brand new in sealed box? I have found one for 3500. I contacted Kac and they are no longer making them. Will their value plummet when ks1 is released? Owning an sr15 is a life-long dream for me
