Could Inuyasha access his “true” demon form?

In the Inuyasha universe, full dog demons such as Sesshomaru, Tōga, and Inuyasha’s dad are shown to have the true form of a giant dog.

Although it’s never stated, it’s implied that Inuyasha doesn’t have a giant dog form because he is only half demon

Because Inuyasha can turn full demon in certain scenarios, I’m wondering if he would be able to turn himself into his true demon dog form.
