IMAX 70MM's brightness issue

I don't know if it's just me, but I wonder if IMAX 70MM actually suffers from brightness issues and the image quality isn't actually better than GT and/or IMAX with Laser?

Recently I watched Tenet and Dune 2 in IMAX 70MM, both at Lincoln Square. I felt both screenings were a bit dim. For Tenet, I couldn't really see much details in the shadows, especially in the beginning prelogue and the wind farm scene. The overall image quality got better as we get into the daylight scenes. For Dune 2, the opening scene was really painful to watch - I was making an effort to see what's going on, never thought I was truly just enjoying the movie.

I watched Oppenheimer at the same theater, but I don't have much recollection of my experience.

I'd love to hear your experience watching these movies in IMAX 70mm. Is it actually darker than the laser screenings? Or was it just Lincoln Square's problem?
