Memorial Park Rant/PSA
As an outside the beltway dweller and longtime runner, I decided to take advantage of this lovely weather and go for a run in Houston’s premier green belt, Memorial Park. My usual routes in my neighborhood are through the streets and on walking trails. I usually run early and rarely see many people during my runs.
Today dealing with a crowded trail left me shaking my head. Do people have any common sense or courtesy? If you are a group of 4 walking side by side, you are taking up the whole track! If you as a single person walking, why are you walking in the middle of the trail? If your shoe becomes untied, don’t stop dead in your tracks, walk to the side and tie your shoe.
Rant over. ( I know….go back to the suburbs old man!)
