Opinions on First and Second Doctor voices (Big Finish)

So I just had to make a post about how much I enjoy Peter Purves and Frazer Hines voicing the 1st and 2nd Doctors, respectively. I think it's so cool that they've both been able to adapt the little nuances of each of their Doctors: Frazer doing the thing where the 2nd Doctor clears his throat a lot mid-sentence; and how Peter does the little "Hm?" of the 1st Doctor. They both do great with the pronunciation/dialects too. I love that they were given the chance to portray the actors they were close to on the show.

I recently listened to Michael Troughton (Patrick's son) as the 2nd Doctor in the newly released "James Robert McCrimmon" series. It honestly took me a good minute to realize that the character I was listening to was meant to be the 2nd Doctor. Their way of speaking is similar but the different voice caught me off guard and took some time for me to get used to. However, he does a great performance, especially at the end of the second story of that series, The Green Man (If you know, you know). Overall, I think I still prefer Frazer for this Doctor.

As for David Bradley as the 1st Doctor, I haven't heard too much of him yet. I watched An Adventure in Time and Space back when it first came out but was thinking about listening to his stories as the 1st Doctor. I've only heard small bits of him, but still think I prefer Peter for this Doctor as well.

What are your thoughts on the voices of these early Doctors in the audios?
