Rooms and filling them with things...
At first on that panel where Follo sees inside Rudo's room, I couldn't quite figure out what was going on in his head, and even now I still don't fully know. Which is great! and I hope Follo survives to give us a direct explanation. But knowing what he remembered when witnessing his room, while also knowing how different those two rooms are, despite both being filled with trash, just imagine what was going on in his head! I really want to know what he thought when he saw it.
Also for the first time I se a thing in common between the two, and it comes down to the phrase "one man's garbage is another man's treasure". Rudo scavenges through trash like it's a literal goldmine, and Follo took something that was abandoned and rejected by someone who called it straight up a piece of junk, and called it his treasure.
And on the moment he hands it over to Rudo it's no longer about either of them, it's not about Follo becoming a giver, but allowing this abandoned and adopted hammer to finally fulfill it's purpose to the fullest (and that is almost guaranteed if Rudo can actually use it)! It feels like at this moment on the last page, Follo just lets it go, only wishing to maybe witness it's peak before he passes on. But this is a HUGE development step for Follo and now even more than before I really hope he won't die now...
