newbie & first fountain pen purchase :)

so, for reference i’ve only ever used a cheap dollar store find fountain pen and then a zebra fountain pen when the first one ran out of ink; so i’m definitely a noob and have never had the luxury of using a to-die-for fountain pen. that being said, i gave in and purchased my beginner fountain pen; the lamy safari, in aquasky. granted, i got the converter to eventually buy a pretty ink to go along with it (saving up to splurge when i finally can) and i honestly cannot wait! i know it’s not the cream of the crop pen but it is one to me haha. any recommendations for ink (i’m leaning towards ferris wheel or tom’s studio for sure, since those are more in my price range/budget friendly wallet) would be greatly appreciated! i’m obviously a blue kind of girl, next pen i get will most definitely be blue as well. so i’ll take any recs for any other suggestions on pens that aren’t gonna cost me an arm and a leg! thanks in advance! and sorry for the rant about one pen 😂🙂‍↔️
