I’ve never done the Minutemen Ending- is it comparable to the Railroad Ending? (Potential Spoilers!)

My current play through character was supposed to take on the General role and stick to that for most of the storyline, but helping settlements gets old fast and eventually he stumbled upon the Railroad because I’m trying to gain XP.

I like the quests for them better and I have all of the DLCs so I don’t have to end anytime soon, I haven’t even found Virgil yet and I’m at lvl 43 right now.

Just curious if it is at all worth it to try siding with the Minutemen in the end just this once?
