Airbus A350 — can someone please explain this to me?

I am flying in an Airbus A350, which has the highest ETOPS certification worldwide. It's one of the safest aircrafts ever.

Does the fact that it's been flying for over 10 years with no incidents something I can relax about because there has never been a fatality onboard? Or does this mean that in any moment it's going to fail?

I know that your duty is to tell me that any plane is safe. But what worries me is that this plane has never had an incident and I don't know if it's because the aviation organizations have rested their heads on it.
