I need permission to DNF: The Book of Azrael 😅

I mean really I guess I don’t need permission, but I just really have a hard time not finishing a book when it’s highly raved about. I’m about 20% in and it’s just not capturing me. I love magical realism, parallel worlds and urban fantasy but it’s just a really meh read so far.

Should I continue? Does it get much better later in the book?
