Recommend an interesting nation for a somewhat beginner.

My last 10 saves probably consist of 3 Korea saves, 3 Ming releasables, 3 Japanese Daimyo, and 1 Scotland. I don't know why but I just can't find the traditional nations interesting.

So can you guys recommend an interesting nation or save objectives that's not too hard. Thanks in advance.
