Why is ebike tech lagging behind so far from electric car tech?

I don't understand because there are many millions of ebikes already, much more ebikes than electirc cars.

Why do ebikes still lack range, and why is "fast" charging a process of multiple hours? Why don't the batteries have anything to regulate their temperature? Why is everything so much more expensive, relatively? Why do parts wear down so quickly and need so many replacements? Why is every ebike so different and you rely on just 1 type of battery and charger? Why are there close to zero charging spots for ebikes?

I'm starting to think that ebike businesses are just greedy and want to sell the cheapest stuff for the highest price. Yet another reason to start considering the DIY route.
