What made season 33 so special?

Curious to know everyone’s thoughts about this past season and why you think it was so special.

As a long time viewer of the show, this is definitely my favorite season next to Riker Lynch’s season, James Hinchcliffe season and Charli’s season.

I think the reason why this season was so special was the cast. For one, I think the celebrities they picked for the season were genuinely really down to earth which I think made them all so close. The pairings of the celebs and pros are one of the best casting I’ve ever seen! Literally every couple was perfect. I don’t think I ever seen that where it was every couple meshed so well and now have formed long lasting friendships.

Social media also played a huge role and the addition of Rylee and Ezra brought in the younger generation.

I just hope season 34 is great too, because I’d love to see DWTS become popular again like it did in the past!
