Overweight, out of shape, 37m acquiring a Wahoo Kickr Snap system tomorrow and looking to turn things around. Help set me up for success.
I need to lose weight due to health concerns. I have foot problems, so running is out. I’m not getting into this for competitive purposes, just to get back into a healthier lifestyle. I’m looking for a whole workout system that is not only challenging but fun. That seems possible with some of the apps I’ve looked at. I plan to use my old mountain bike and will buy necessary components to make it compatible.
I see that Zwift is $20 per month, which seems excessive but I’m new to this. Is it worth it? MyWhoosh seems like a solid alternative but because it’s free, is it one of those things where you get what you pay for? I’m not opposed to paying for an app if it’s going to help me meet my goals. Im open to recommendations for other apps.
Just looking for any tips you have to set me up for success on my indoor cycling journey I’m about to embark on.
