Has anyone noticed a trend of undisciplined children and parents who look dead inside?

I was just on the airplane and these two kids were crying nonstop for three hours on the flight. I looked over to see if the parents were ya know… parenting.. and they just looked completely checked out like they couldn’t even hear the cries anymore. They didn’t bother to discipline or anything, just light touching once in a while if it got louder. The mom had the kid on her lap and was staring at the window. The whole plane was over it at the end.

This is the second time in recent months that I’ve seen a mother just completely ignoring her kid and looking miserable…

I remember my mom always disciplining me. It’s strange to see parents not care about their surroundings and raising their kids. This can’t be good in the long run…

And these are the same people to try to convince us their kids are the joys of their life 🙄
