Baby screams being put at breast

The last 3 days my 8 week old has started crying and screaming when being put to the breast, before latching. She cries for a few minutes and then eventually latches so I don't know what's happening 🙁

If this keeps up I have no idea how I could feed her in public bc I have to rock her with my boob out for her to eventually stop crying and latch 😭

She has a small stye on her right eye, I thought that was causing her pain lying on my arm while feeding but she cries on the other side too so I don't know.

Any advice is welcome 😢
