To be honest here, i am not fond of Sahara sensei being translated as Mr. Sahara, since is not only inaccurate, but it just sounds off. The title of the series would have sounded better if it kept the japanese title or if they would have gone for "Sahara sensei & Toki-kun", which is why i decided to use both titles.
Official Synopsis: "Problem student Toki Kaneda seems to be a troublemaker, but he has an innocent nature despite it all. His day-to-day life changes completely when he meets his PE teacher, Ichiro Sahara, who even becomes his motivation to go to school! This series is adapted from the manga with the same title by Toriya Kou. The manga has 7 volumes in total and is completed. It has a english scanlation, but it only covers very little of it. It doesn`t have an official english translation as well. I personally really like the manga and i think is really worth a shot for those of you who like to read BL mangas.
The series will have 8 eps, with the eps being released every friday.

From the small glimpses that i come across last night, Sahara sensei to Toki-kun is written and portrayed first and firemost as a romcom, a pretty solid romcom. At least for the first eps because i am predicting that the story will turn more heavy and serious in the last eps.
