So Bill just punted on NFL/Super Bowl talk this week?

Only a prop bet podcast with Sal last Sunday and a 12-minute million dollar picks segment for the Friday podcast before the Super Bowl.

I get it was an eventful NBA trade deadline, but it’s still a little surprising he spent such little time talking about the biggest game of the sports calendar.

He said he didn’t have House on because he’s down in New Orleans. Is he just not interested, or is it too much of a logistical hassle to engage with people down there during Super Bowl week? I feel like he usually has a number of NFL guests for Super Bowl week; he’ll at least have someone like Schrager on to talk about insider stories about the state of the league, and about both teams.

There was also a ton of topics to talk about this week for the upcoming game: The refs/Chiefs conspiracy theory stuff run wild, where does this Chiefs dynasty run rank in NFL history, Patrick Mahomes GOAT status, the enigmas that are Jalen Hurts and Nick Sirianni, how memorable and all-time great Saquon’s season has been, how great Philly’s defense has been, can they stop this all-time Chiefs juggernaut, and what their historical status would be if they did so, etc.
