Scratched Carbon frame

Hi guys,

I bought a new Bianchi Oltre Race for Christmas and during the first two rides the chain popped off and got stuck between the frame and the crankset. After adjustments and fine-tuning it never happened again. However, yesterday I was cleaning it and saw this huge scratch, which was certainly one of those first times. As it's in an inconspicuous area, I never realized how big it was. Today I took it to my local bike shop and after they removed the crankset they sent me this photo and told me that it was just the paintwork, that in the photo it looks worse than in reality and that when you run your finger over it you can't feel any relief, so I shouldn't worry. They also said that this area is quite reinforced as it's the bike's bending point and it would never break here. To be honest, in aesthetic terms I'm not too worried because you can't see where it is, but I'm worried that the structure might be compromised. What do you think?
