People who moved to Bentonville from other cities/states with good public schools: Are Bentonville's public schools legitimately, objectively "good"? Or are they just "good compared to other schools in Arkansas"?
I see that Bentonville public schools generally have excellent ratings on GreatSchools, and people on this sub mostly say that the public schools are great. But I'm curious: Are they objectively great? Or just great compared to other public schools in Arkansas? Arkansas as a state is ranked very low for education, so it's not terribly hard for one district to look good if the comparison is other Arkansas schools.
Would really love to hear from anybody who moved to Bentonville from say, Boston suburbs, Seattle/Bellevue suburbs, DC suburbs (e.g., McLean or North Arlington), Denver suburbs (e.g., Centennial) -- places with good public schools in states that are highly ranked for education. How have you found Bentonville public schools compared to the public schools of the places you moved to Bentonville from?
Thanks for any insight.
