Trying to get an appointment at the prefecture but no slots available. Help needed.

i am currently in a very stressful situation and i am wondering if someone has any insights regarding the same. i recently got PACS with my bf of 3 years, and am looking to apply for the VPF visa. i have most of the documents but i am not sure where to apply for this visa. In the last two years, i have had a student visa (valid for 2 years) and currently on the job search APS visa (1 year, eligible to renew for +1 year).

From my understanding this website only shows for married people https://administration-etrangers-en-france.interieur.gouv.fr/particuliers/#/ so i have to get an appointment from the Marseille prefecture but its been months and there are no slots available.

my visa is expiring in 3 months and i don't know how to proceed. can i take an appointment in another department? or who do i email or call and would do that even make a deference?

i would really appreciate any help regarding this.
