2014 Wrangler Clock Spring Extended Warranty - Dealer says they'll fix it for free but if it turns out NOT to be the clock spring, they will charge me $195.
The airbag light is on, the horn does not work, and the radio buttons on the backside of the steering wheel don't seem to do anything. I hooked up my OBDII scanner but no codes have been thrown.
The extended warranty states several codes that indicate a clock spring failure and would qualify for the extended warranty, and states that if no codes are found then something else must be the problem and the warranty does not apply.
I can't see it being anything but the clock spring. Anyone else have this issue or any ideas?
Should I roll the dice with the dealer?
