Need Help with Form I-765: Current Immigration Status Section (K-1 Visa Holder)

Hi everyone,

I’m in the process of filing my I-765 (Application for Employment Authorization) and I need some help with one specific part of the form. I entered the U.S. on a K-1 visa and I’m now married. I’ve already applied for Adjustment of Status (I-485) on July 10, 2024.

For the question that asks for my “current immigration status or category” in Part 25, I’m not sure whether to select “K-1” or another option. I’ve already gotten married and am adjusting my status, but I’m still using my K-1 status for now.

Can anyone help clarify what the best option would be? Also, do I need to include anything specific in this section given my current situation?
