Stood up on date

A guy I really liked asked me out on a date this week to a fancy-ish restaurant and last night when I got there, he was a no show. Im not going to lie, this really hurt and I just didn’t know what to do because it was the last thing I expected. Especially cause this was my first date ever ha. I still haven’t heard from him and I just pray he has a good excuse.

I ended up calling a friend and explaining what happened and she came to the restaurant, sat down, and ate with me (despite her having just come from eating dinner) so that I didn’t walk out alone feeling humiliated. I just thought I’d share this because this is just a really good freaking friend and I am so thankful for women.

Your comments made me laugh and smile and i’m so upset seeing how relatable this is. he decided to reply.. saying his phone broke. very lame and if he’s gonna lie i would’ve preferred something more dramatic. So to sum this story up, me and the block button are now in a pretty intimate relationship (:
