Cannot update TikTok region even after 90 days in my new country

This is so frustrating! TikTok keeps coming up with reasons not to allow me to update my region. I've been in my new country for 6 months now, and I'm still having issues. I don't want to stop using my account, as I have 70k followers on it.

This is the error message I get: "Cannot update region. To update account region, you need to meet the following requirements - You wait until the data center maintenance is complete in the region where you are currently located or which you are changing to. Try again later, or go to Settings and privacy > Report a problem for immediate assistance."
