Best Pokémon GO companion apps? 2024 edition

Looking at companion apps for Pokémon Go in 2024. I haven't found any newer posts, and it looks like a couple of the apps I've seen recommended have been discontinued or have changed a lot over the years, so I'd love to hear some opinions/recommendations and why you like them! Are the best ones overlaid apps, or are those too gimmicky to work well?
