Feels like yesterday when I lost my friend

I remember like it was yesterday a Saturday morning in 2022 june me and my friend walking down the street and me saying that let's play volleyball at 6. He goes his way and I go mine. At evening I go to the ground and everyone is silent they're saying that lovely is missing from 6 hours his phone is switched off and I jokingly say he might be with his GF. That time police traces his phone and the last location was this river and now everyone's scared about 11pm when I'm sleeping I get a call that my friend with whom I spent like 6 hours everyday for 2 years is dead . I was devastated and I think that was the last time I truly cried. A week goes by and video of his corpse getting dragged out from a water body gets pulled out. Some say his friends did it some say this was accident I guess truth is just buried under water now. I miss my man he would've been 19 this year .
