Aspiring Founder: How do you discover profitable B2B startup ideas beyond consumer markets?
I’m an engineer living in a tier-1 city, and I’m exploring the idea of starting a startup. However, I’ve noticed that my perspective is relatively narrow- I mostly see consumer-facing products and services around me. I want to expand my thinking to uncover strong B2B startup ideas but find it challenging to move beyond the familiar.
How do experienced founders and entrepreneurs discover high-value B2B opportunities? Are there frameworks, habits, or methods that help in identifying pain points in industries outside of one’s immediate exposure?
Would love to hear from those who’ve successfully transitioned from a consumer-first mindset to finding scalable B2B ideas!
